If you want to check out books, movies, and more, you'll need a BPL library card. Teens 13 and older can apply for their own card - all you need is a school ID, a report card (don't worry we won't look at your grades), or working papers. Find out how to get one here . Lose your card? Is yours expired? Get all the info you need with our Library Card Help Page.
Not sure what to read next? Get a personalized booklist based on your interests from our BookMatch Teen team. Fill out this form, or check out our Discord server to discover some new reads approved by fellow teens.
Need help researching an assignment, searching for an ancestor or writing a paper? BPL’s Book a Librarian allows you to reserve a free half hour virtual session with a professional reference librarian.
