IDNYC's office is open by appointment only in Central Library's new Civic Commons. Regardless of your legal status, if you’re 10 and older and live in New York City, make an appointment to visit an IDNYC enrollment center at the Central Library.

Here’s some other things you can do with your idNYC card:
- Use as ID to enter public buildings, such as schools and city service agencies
- Open a bank or credit union account at one of several financial institutions across New York City (see full list on the IDNYC website)
