Construction has begun on the new Brooklyn Heights Library and it will open in Summer 2021. For more information about the new Brooklyn Heights Library, visit Building a Better Brooklyn Heights Library.
Interim Service: because of COVID, the interim library at Our Lady of Lebanon Church (109 Remsen Street) was not capable of safely reopening for public service and has closed. In December, BPL will begin to provide Lobby Service for book pickups and returns at BPL’s Center for Brooklyn History at 128 Pierrepont Street.
Patrons can call 718-YOUR-BPL to move holds to another open BPL location or for more information.
