Your default PIN is your birthday, with two digits for the month and two digits for the day. (For example, if your birthday is May 25, your default password is 0525.) If that does not work, you can reset your PIN here.

Book donation at Central Library is unavailable at this time. We hope to reintroduce this service in the future, but all book donations remain suspended.

At this time we are not hosting public indoor programs. Complete this form to suggest a future program. However, you may rent our spaces for private or paid events.

For a limited time, BPL will continue to renew library card accounts, including eCards, for New York State residents with an expiration date from January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2022. New York State residents may also renew their library cards in person at a BPL branch. Learn more about renewing your card and available library card types.
