Frequently Asked Questions

Your default PIN is your birthday, with two digits for the month and two digits for the day. (For example, if your birthday is May 25, your default password is 0525.) If that does not work, you can reset your PIN here.

Effective March 1, 2023, BPL will no longer perform courtesy auto-renewals for eCard accounts. eCardholders will be able to renew their own accounts as they expire. Visit our eCard/Welcome Card FAQ for more information.

Patrons may renew their full-access library cards by visiting any open BPL location, or contact us for a one-time courtesy three-month renewal. Learn more about available library card types.

Book donations are being accepted from October 11, 2022 through December 9, 2022 in Central Library’s Grand Lobby during open hours. Your contribution will help support BPL’s collections and programs.
