Teen Takeovers Branch Council

Teen Takeovers Branch Council is an internship program where high school students plan, organize, promote, and host after-hours public programs for other teens. Interns learn about event planning, creating a budget, and program promotion. We seek committed and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to learn, work, and have fun!

Responsibilities:
  • Complete training in event planning, project management, professional communication, and marketing
  • Commit to attending weekly meetings and to working as a team
  • Work behind the scenes on developing monthly after-hours programs for other teens
Requirements
  • Interest in libraries and event planning
  • Age 16-19
  • Available to meet weekly October 2024 through June 2025
  • Signed consent of parents to engage in 75 hours of intern service during out-of-school time

All applicants will receive a follow up email and select applicants will be invited for an interview.
