Night of Ideas Brooklyn 2022 is a 6-hour FREE LATE-NIGHT FESTIVAL showcasing contemporary philosophical thought through talks and debates with top public intellectuals, professors, and environmentalists that explore philosophy in playful and provocative ways. The festival also includes live music, film screenings and art installations with guest lecturers, musicians and artists from the U.S, France and around the world. It is co-presented by Villa Albertine of the French Embassy and produced in connection with the worldwide La Nuit des Idées, a project of the Institut Français, Paris.
The event will take place at Central Library located at 10 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, New York from 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 21st to 1:00 AM on Sunday, May 22nd.
Volunteer tasks may include:
- informing and directing attendees
- assisting participating philosophers and artists
- supervising the various rooms, and more
