Night of Philosophy & Ideas 2020 is a 12-hour marathon showcasing contemporary philosophical thought through intellectual talks and debates, specially commissioned art installations, live performances, and film and video screenings that explore philosophy in playful and provocative ways. It is co-presented by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.

The event will take place at Central Library located at 10 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, New York from 7 pm on February 1 to 7 am on February 2.

Volunteer tasks may include:

  • Informing and directing attendees
  • Assisting participating philosophers and artists
  • Supervising the various rooms, and more

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
10:00 pm - 1:00 am
1:00 am - 4:00 am
4:00 am - 7:00 am
