Brooklyn Eagles

The Brooklyn Eagles are a vibrant group of young and engaged Brooklynites who are passionate about Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) and their community.

In appreciation for their commitment and support, Eagles are invited to participate in a wide range of Library events and opportunities. They discuss great reads at our monthly book club, gather for library-themed trivia nights, volunteer at branches and spread the word about BPL’s essential services for our borough.

Select your monthly gift amount to help make even more possible for all Brooklynites across our 60+ branches.

Giving Levels

We offer three levels of support as a Brooklyn Eagle.

  • A monthly gift of $5 can support new families and help BPL add twelve board books to our children’s collection
  • A monthly donation of $10 can provide a Brooklyn teen with a full year of chess classes and college test prep materials
  • A monthly donation of $20 can support BPL’s digital collections of commonly banned books available to teens nationwide
