Schedule an Appointment with the Social Work Program Coordinator

Social work support and referrals are available at bklynlibrary.org/social-work-appointment for:

  • Housing Assistance
  • Food Assistance
  • Employment Assistance
  • Health Insurance Assistance
  • Mental Health/Counseling Referral

The Social Work Program at Brooklyn Public Library is funded in part by the generous support of NYC Health + Hospitals Test and Trace Program. 


Free NARCAN® (naloxone) kits are available at both Greenpoint Library and at Paerdegat Library

NARCAN® (naloxone) can reverse overdose from opioids. Pick up a free NARCAN® kit anonymously at Brighton Beach, Greenpoint Library or Paerdegat Library. 

Trained staff will be on hand with instructions for safe use, including how to administer NARCAN® and help our community stay healthy.
