Application for Year-Long Brooklyn Connections Program

Brooklyn Connections is a one-year residency program for 4th-12th grade Brooklyn students. Fully aligned with Common Core state standards, Brooklyn Connections partners with educators and administrators to introduce students to the Brooklyn Collection archive while developing multi-discpline academic research and learning skills. Our partnership program is full for the 2019-2020 school year, but applications are still welcome for the wait list.

Brooklyn Connections application
School Year Internship for High School Students

If you are a high schooler who participated in Brooklyn Connections this school year, we're looking for motivated and inquisitive 9th-12th grade students for a paid internship starting Fall 2019. Interns will get an inside look at the work of archivist and libraries in cultural institutions, learn how to handle rare historical documents from the Brooklyn Collection, and get the opportunity to curate and produce a local history portfolio of their own design.
