HERicane NYC Program
NYC Emergency Management invites New York City high school students to participate in the I-DIEM HERricane program in NYC, designed to encourage young women from 16-22 years old to pursue careers and leadership roles in emergency management.

Building Beats: Free Summer Camps for Aspiring DJs and Songwriters
Learn how to DJ or hone your recording and mixing skills, and create new tracks. For ages 16-24. Get more details and apply here by June 21. 

The Center: Ready Internship
READY is The Center’s career preparation internship program for current New York City high school students. They participate in a tailored training series focused on strengthening their resumes, cover letters and interview skills. Once students complete their training they are eligible to work at a partnering business, organization or establishments and earn work experience.
The deadline to submit applications here is June 23, 2024.

REEL Works: The Dual Language Documentary Lab
Learn to use cameras, lighting and sound to tell a story of family heritage, women's empowerment, or the importance of mental health as teenagers. All workshops will be in Spanish and English, candidates must have some knowledge of Spanish. Apply here by June 9.
