Who Are Friends of Sheepshead Bay Library?
We're a group of organized volunteers who help our library through advocacy, fundraising and promotion of Library programs and initiatives.
What do we do?
Advocate
We are a voice for Sheepshead Bay Library on relevant local, state and national issues. Members contact government officials, attend community meetings and speak to civic groups.
Engage
As goodwill ambassadors, we try to create greater awareness of Sheepshead Bay Library and it's resources.
Fundraise
We host weekly fundraisers (and always need help!) and fund hundreds of program sessions a year.
