Center for Brooklyn History
Come to the Center for Brooklyn History to see winning projects from the 2025 NYC History Day Contest! History Day provides middle and high school students a platform to present original research projects. Competing in one of five categories - documentary, exhibit, paper, performance or website - students choose a topic related to any time or place in history. Projects from last year's contest, "Rights and Responsibility in History," will be on display in the CBH Parlor from September 2 through September 19. This is a great opportunity to learn about History Day and get inspiration for the 2026 contest! Join us for a closing reception and 2025 kickoff at 4:30 PM on Thursday, September 18 to hear from some of the students and learn about this year's contest!
New York City History Day is generously supported by the Rose M. Badgeley Residuary Charitable Trust and the Morris and Alma Schapiro Fund.
