Come to the Center for Brooklyn History to see winning projects from the 2024 NYC History Day Contest! History Day provides middle and high school students a platform to present original research projects. Competing in one of five categories - documentary, exhibit, paper, performance or website - students choose a topic related to any time or place in history. Projects from last year's contest, "Turning Points in History," will be on display in the CBH Parlor from September 9 through September 19. Join us for a closing reception and 2025 kickoff at 4:30 PM on Thursday, September 19 to hear from some of the students and learn about this year's contest!
New York City History Day is sponsored in part by the Rose M. Badgeley Residuary Charitable Trust and the May and Samuel Rudin Family Foundation.
