Wednesday of Wisdom: Sleep Hygiene Workshop
This Sleep Hygiene workshop will address common myths about sleep and explore essential facts for understanding good sleep practices. We’ll delve into the mechanics of sleep to uncover what happens in our bodies and minds while we rest. We’ll also discuss the relationship between sleep and aging, examining how sleep evolves over the lifespan and what it means for you. You'll have the opportunity to self-evaluate your own sleep habits and gain practical tips to improve your sleep hygiene. Finally, we'll introduce the "Do More, Feel Better" program—a free mental health initiative focused on increasing pleasurable activities to improve mood and motivation.
Registration required. The Zoom link will be sent by 10am the day of the program.
Hosted by Services for Older Adults.
Services for Older Adults is partially funded by Coordinated Outreach Library Services aid from the New York State Education Department, administered by the State Library’s Division of Library Development. All programs are sponsored by Brooklyn Public Library’s Department of Outreach Services.
