Teen Hour of Code
Computer Science Education Week is Dec. 5-11, but why stop there!?
December 6, 13, & 20 from 4:30-5:30pm
Participate in an Hour of Code™ at the Midwood Library to try out programming and coding. No experience at all is required; we will have activities available for all experience levels, or bring your own device and work on a personal project! We will have laptops available. You can work individually or in groups; come alone or bring your friends. Attend as many or as few sessions as you want!
Coding is a valuable skill that can be useful in a wide variety of careers including both STEM and the arts and humanities!
The 'Hour of Code™'/'Hora del Código®' is a global initiative by Computer Science Education Week [csedweek.org] and Code.org [code.org] to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.
