Watch the Solar Eclipse!

Join us Monday, April 8th for the Solar Eclipse Viewing Event! 

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting the Moon's shadow on Earth.  A total solar eclipse is truly a once in a lifetime experience, occurring in the same place only once every 400 years. 

Here in Brooklyn we will see a Partial Total Eclipse with about 90% coverage of the Sun! 

 

Join us to safely watch from one of the viewing stations that will be set up to project the movement of the Moon's shadow. 

Register for this event or participate in one of the special teen and young adult events to receive a Solar Eclipse Kit!
