Prison Library Support Network Info Session
AAHC
Justice Initiatives
social services
The Prison Library Support Network is hosting an in-person information session for anyone interested in volunteering to support the information needs of our incarcerated neighbors. This event will be an in-person version of PLSN’s new volunteer orientation which will include a history of PLSN, an overview of our current projects, and ways to get involved. We will also share information on our reference-by-mail volunteer service.
The Prison Library Support Network is an information-based network that aims to share resources and information with people who are incarcerated.
Empowerment Avenue will join the session and speak about She Told Me Save the Flower, the exhibit by incarcerated artist/writer Corey Devon Arthur currently on display inside the library’s Dionne Mack-Harvin African American Heritage Center.
361 Lewis Ave. at Macon St.
