Make Music New York: Cheryl Tugade
Join us for a wonderful music performance by Cheryl Tugade in celebration of Make Music New York. This program will take place outside of the library. In the event of rain, the performance will be moved to inside of the library.
Cheryl Tugade is a singer-songwriter and student at UC Berkeley whose performances feel like an intimate conversation with a friend. They effortlessly blend catchy tunes with poignant storytelling, with audiences often likening them to Tracy Chapman. Cheryl has been performing for more than seven years, and has played shows ranging from 300+ people in an auditorium, to smaller shows at cafes and galleries, to busking on New York City's streets. They are a regular performer at Sofar Sounds shows in the East Bay, playing intimate shows at live venues across San Francisco and Oakland.
This program is part of Make Music New York and will include a whole day of different music performances at New Lots Library and other venues across NYC. Make Music New York is “a unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City. All of the performances take place annually on June 21st, the first day of summer and longest day of the year.”
Registration not required but encouraged to send updates.
