Make Music New York: Emilia Matamoros and Marko Tam Panflute

Make Music New York is a unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City. All of the performances take place annually on June 21st, the first day of summer and longest day of the year.

Emilia, a singer-songwriter with Ecuadorian roots, blends Latin pop, R&B, and traditional Ecuadorian music with heartfelt vocals. Marko, a master of Andean wind instruments, brings the soul of the Andes through the sounds of the wind instruments. Together, they create powerful and emotional performances that connect deeply with diverse audiences. Their duet brings a fresh and authentic voice to Latin and Andean music, honoring tradition while reaching new generations.
