Are you a woman, gender nonbinary, or nonconforming person looking for an opportunity in the food
industry? Join us for a special information session presented by representatives from Hot Bread Kitchen to
learn about their FREE culinary training programs and get ready to take the first step toward an exciting
career!


Learn more about the following programs offered by Hot Bread Kitchen:


Signature Culinary Fundamentals: This five-week program provides essential technical culinary
skills and places program graduates in high-quality jobs in the food industry. Intermediate Culinary
ESOL is offered as needed as part of this program, and a $200 weekly stipend is provided to members
during the first four weeks of the training.
Front of House Training: In this 2-week in-person program at Chelsea Market, you'll gain the skills and
learn the fundamentals to prepare for a front-of-house role in NYC's vibrant food industry. A $150
weekly stipend and job placement support is provided as part of this program.
HBK Incubates Seed: This virtual program is designed for female and nonbinary small food
entrepreneurs who want to establish a strong foundation for their food product or food business idea.
 

Hot Bread Kitchen also has an all-gender-inclusive program:


First Course NYC: Hot Bread Kitchen is teaming up with New York City Small
Business Services to create fresh career opportunities for New Yorkers.
First Course NYC is a 14-week apprenticeship program for aspiring
restaurant cooks. It is open to all genders! If interested, please stop by after
the presentation.


Cultivate: a virtual program in partnership with Santander Bank that
provides resources, capital, and mentorship to entrepreneurs in the
food-industry in NYC, Long Island, and select NJ counties. Participants have
the opportunity to win a grant for their business up to $13,000!
