Flatbush Craft Circle: Linocut Printmaking

Join Flatbush Library's craft circle for a chance to unwind, chat with neighbors and get crafty! We meet select Tuesday evenings to try out a new technique or project together. All levels are welcome, from beginner to expert. Come learn something new and enjoy the company of fellow crafters. We’ll also have a selection of craft and art books available for you to check out and take home.  

For our next few sessions, we'll be learning various printmaking techniques. For this first session, we'll show you how to carve your own stamp using a linocutter, walk you through some basic techniques and then practice printing on paper. This is a fun and flexible artmaking process to try! Custom linocut prints are a wonderful way to make unique cards, prints and posters.

Masks and registration are encouraged but not required.
