Good Neighbors of Park Slope and Park Slope Library present, "A Brooklyn Schoolteacher in the Mexican Revolution" by Dan La Botz.

In 1917 the United States entered World War I, to which there was great opposition in many sectors of society.

Herman P. Levine, a young Jewish socialist in Brooklyn, refused to serve and faced jail. He fled to Mexico only to find himself in the middle of a revolution.

This is his story.

Park Slope Library would like to thank the Good Neighbors of Park Slope for making this program possible.
