Join us in this amazing 9-week series. This is an interactive text and image collaging workshop series featuring poems, stories, and photos about the history of photo-poetry and its unique power to ignite the imagination. We will employ pictures taken by participants and historical photographs as we write, creating works that fuse language with images so that reading and viewing our new creations becomes an interwoven Collage experience. Our photo-poetry will allow the reader/viewer to find meaning from text and image together, beyond what is found in each form individually.

No Experience Necessary. Supplies will be provided.

Registration Required. For more information, please call 718.375.3037.

Hosted Through Services for Older Adults.

Creative Aging programs at BPL are made possible with support from The Sills Family Foundation; Wallerstein Foundation for Geriatric Life Improvement; Jean and Louis Dreyfus Foundation; Apple Bank, celebrating over 25 years in Brooklyn and 160  years of neighborhood banking in greater New York (Visit applebank.com for more information); and several BPL Friends Groups, private funders, and volunteers.
