Creative Aging: The Art of Jewelry and Hat Making

Jewelry Making: 

These four-beginner friendly hands-on sessions will dive into the world of beaded jewelry. Essential jewelry making techniques will be covered to create unique earrings and elastic natural bead bracelets. Participants will use jewelry making tools, measuring, knotting and wire cutting for their one-of-a-kind jewelry.  

 

Hat Making: 

These four sessions will cover the basics of millinery design. Participants will learn about different hat making material, basic hat blocking techniques (hat shaping) and designing trim for millinery. Each participant will design and trim a hat of their own.
