Community Narcan (Naloxone) Training

- Naloxone (Narcan) can reverse the effects of opioid overdose?
- New York State law allows anyone who has received training at a pharmacy or community program to carry and use naloxone?
- The New York State Good Samaritan Law protects you when you call 911 if you are overdosing or witness someone overdosing?
People who use drugs have long faced barriers to receiving the medical and social supports they need because of the stigma and criminalization of drug use. Bedford Learning Center has partnered with The Family Center to help change this!
Please join us for a brief training, during which you will receive Narcan kits and have time to ask mental health professionals any questions you may have.
