Collection Connections: Book Adventures
Join us for a four week program as we explore unique objects from the Brooklyn Children's Museum in our new Community Gallery! This program will take place in the Children's Section.
Week 2: What is your most treasured object and why? *Kids are invited to bring along an item for show and tell.* Join us for a readaloud about about collecting personal treasures, followed by exploring unique objects from the Brooklyn Children's Museum in our Community Gallery, and a fun activity. We will discuss what makes an object important, how we start personal collections and why we think certain objects are in musuems.
Collections Connections, in partnership with Brooklyn Children's Museum, is made possible due to generous funding from The Charles H. Revson Foundation. Learn how you can visit this and other museums for free with Culture Pass.
