Join us for a four week program as we explore unique objects from the Brooklyn Children's Museum in our new Community Gallery! This program will take place in the Children's Section.  

Week 3: How do we sort and organize objects? Join us as we look through a variety of everyday objects and discuss how things are organized and sorted. We will start with a readaloud about sorting objects, followed by exploring objects  (inlcuding those from Brooklyn Children's Museum in our Community Gallery) and a fun activity. We will discuss diffrent critera to categorize, organize and arrange a collection. 

Collections Connections, in partnership with Brooklyn Children's Museum, is made possible due to generous funding from The Charles H. Revson Foundation.  Learn how you can visit this and other museums for free with Culture Pass.

*For ages 4-8. Children under 6 should be closely supervised by an adult. Please register online for the program. 

Information on upcoming sessions:

Week 4 (Friday November 17): Objects as Stories. Join us as we continue to discuss what is in the Community Gallery, and use materials provided to create a story about one or more of these objects through drawing, puppets and words.
