Join us for our weekly workshops designed to educate, empower, and connect you with essential Maternal Health info and community support. Workshops are offered by a doula from our community partner, the Sistahood of Birth Workers NYC. The series is offered bilingually, in English and Spanish.


Class 1: The Fear of Childbirth, Knowing Your Rights & Having a Birth Plan (Tuesday, August 5th 5-7pm)


Class 2: Childbirth Ed 101: Phases of Labor, Comfort Measures & Immediate Postpartum (Tuesday, August 12th, 5-7 pm)


Class 3: Postpartum Recovery & Building Your Village (Tuesday, August 19th, 5-7 pm)

 

The series' final celebration will be at the DeKalb Library (790 Bushwick Avenue) with a Community Fair, featuring local organizations offering support for expecting mothers and families!
