The John D. Morrell photographs collection includes over 2,000 black and white and color negatives and prints, donated by Long Island Historical Society (now CBH) assistant librarian John D. Morrell. Images include street scenes from almost every Brooklyn neighborhood, dating 1957-1974. A generous volunteer indexed the collection by address, street coordinates, and neighborhood, and in 2008 a grant allowed the collection to be digitized. Click here to browse the collection.
