BKM has four paid internships starting this fall. Read below for info and application links and deadlines.
- Brooklyn Museum: Work-Study: Art & Healing
Explore art, education, and mental health, and assist teaching artists in classes for students of all ages.
Thursdays & Weekends October - December 2021
Open to all NYC high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors

- Brooklyn Museum: Museum Apprentice Program
Learn about art history, the Museum, and museum education while teaching audiences of all ages.
10 Months: November 2021 - August 2022
Open to all NYC high school students

- Brooklyn Museum: InterseXtions: Gender & Sexuality
Explore gender and sexuality through art and activism, and organize programs for other LGBTQIA+ youth.
8 months: November 2021 - June 2022
Open to all NYC teens ages 14-19 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, two-spirit, gender nonconforming, questioning, and/or queer

- Brooklyn Museum: Teen Night Planning Committee
Produce free monthly events for other teens that connect art and social justice.

New York Public Library Teen Reading Ambassador Page
For teens in grades 10-12. Hourly pay!
"The Teen Reading Ambassadors (TRA) Page position will be assigned to one of NYPL’s 20 drop-in after-school homework help and enrichment programs at local branch libraries in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island. TRA Pages will be provided with pre-work and ongoing training that will allow them to serve as high-quality academic tutors at their site, with a focus on developing literacy skills and a love of reading in children ages 6–12. Pages will also support the production of Portal, a literary magazine for younger children."

Scholar Studio: Looking for Tutors and Brand Ambassadors!
Scholar Studio is a non-profit organization that tutors middle school students in the SHSAT and subjects in Math, History, and Computer Science, and we are looking for new tutors and brand ambassadors for this summer. For both positions, you will receive volunteer credit, be featured on our website, and be able to join a community of 100+ students across NYC!
