Paid opportunities from BPL and beyond!

Do you love technology and your library? Apply to BPL's Teen Techies program! By participating, you'll learn new computer skills in a two-week fall technology institute, and then share those skills by helping patrons use library computers. You'll also assist library staff with computer troubleshooting and computer training workshops for the public. Ages 14-18. Participants receive stipends.
Apply here ASAP!

Two paid opportunities from BRIC!

Teen Filmmaking Bootcamp
Learn all aspects of the filmmaking process, from pre-production ideation to filming in our Emmy-winning studios, to post-production editing. Over the course of eight sessions, you will learn skills in pre-production, field production, and video editing. This is also a certification course, which will allow you to check out equipment from us to use to create your own project. This program is designed for high schoolers 14-19 years old and includes a $200 stipend upon successful completion of the program. Apply here by July 26, 2026.

Participants of both fellowships will receive a stipend!
The BRIC Teen Curatorial Fellowship focuses on developing and producing the Annual For-Teens-By-Teens: BRIC’s Youth Contemporary Art Exhibition
The BRIC Teen Media Fellowship focuses on developing and producing Concrete Stories: BRIC Youth Media Festival. The annual festival showcases ten short films of various genres created by NYC youth producers under 21 years old.
