Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program

Registration is open for 2024!

Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program (BCAP) is an award-winning day camp for kids ages 7-12 based on a collaboration of six cultural institutions in the heart of Brooklyn: Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Children's Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park Alliance and Prospect Park Zoo, plus our annual guest partner Green-Wood. Adventurers take part in fun, hands-on experiences that weave connections between art, world culture, literature, history, nature, technology, and science.

An important update from our partners at Prospect Park Zoo:

“The Prospect Park Zoo is proud to be a BCAP partner. Unfortunately, due to extensive flooding damage, the Prospect Park Zoo remains closed for repairs and is unable to participate in summer camp this year. All the animals are safe and continue to receive the highest level of care and we look forward to providing programs for BCAP in the future.”

BCAP will be offering special programming to adjust to this change in our schedule. We wish Prospect Park Zoo and everyone affected by flooding a swift and safe recovery, with many more years of summer fun to come.
