The course will take place at the Brooklyn Public Library (Central Library) Monday - Thursday, August 14-17, 2017 (9am - 4pm). Applicants will be evaluated based on need, abilities, grade(s) and subject(s) taught, and potential to actively mentor other teachers. In evaluating the 2017 class, the Library aims to select a diverse group of experience and interests. The Library will select a class of 20 attendees and 3 waitlist from all eligible applicants. Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis beginning June 1, 2017. Eligibility: The Library welcomes applications from 4-12th grade educators (teachers and school librarians) who plan to teach at least one class in the 2017-18 school year.
