Don’t toss it—transform it! Learn to extend the life of your wardrobe in this sustainable sewing class series. Join us for a hands-on workshop where we trade "perfect" for "playful." This is a space for discovery and creative repair. Whether you have a favorite pair of jeans with a hole or a sweater missing a button, we will figure out how to fix it together in a relaxed, low-pressure environment.

In this class, we embrace Visible Mending, using colorful patches and bold Sashiko-style stitches to turn wear-and-tear into a work of art. Beyond just fixing clothes, you’re invited to experiment with fabric scraps to create unique textile art and fabric collages.

Zero skills necessary! We’ll learn the basics of hand-stitching as we go. No "right" way to sew—only your way!

What to Bring: A garment that needs a little love, or just your imagination. We provide the needles, thread, and some scrap fabric. Feel free to bring your own scrap fabrics!

This a five-part workshop. We invite you to come to every session with the goal of completing your project by the end. There will also be an opportunity to present your new textile art as a group on Thursday, May 7th, 6-7:30, at our Show Your Work! event
