Join us for an engaging and practical virtual workshop on chronic metabolic disease and the far-reaching effects of metabolic syndrome on human health. We’ll explore how and why these conditions develop in the body, and how our modern food environment contributes to their rise. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your metabolic health and walk away with three simple, lifelong strategies to make your meals more metabolically supportive—helping you feel better and lowering your risk of chronic disease.

Presenter(s): Lauren Rice & Camila Hernandez-Blanco, Medical Residents, NYU Grossman School of Medicine

Please register and the Zoom info will be emailed to you prior to the workshop. If you have any questions, please contact the Community Health Team at healthybklyn@bklynlibrary.org.
