Brooklyn Public Library Launches Flagship Podcast to Tell You Stories From Around the Borough Featuring the Voices of Dungeon Masters, Grandmothers, Activists and Everyday Brooklynites

Brooklyn, NY – Today, Brooklyn Public Library launched their flagship podcast Borrowed: Stories That Start at the Library.  From a grandfather’s journey to a high school diploma, to a grandmother’s copy of 50 Shades of Gray, to a Dungeons & Dragons-based community building program for teens, Borrowed tells the stories of Brooklyn anchored by the borough’s hub of art, learning, and innovation: the library. Listen to the trailer here and check out the first episode on March 12. 

Every other Tuesday, the podcast will take listeners somewhere new in the borough, exploring Brooklyn’s ever-changing neighborhoods and communities. Borrowed is hosted by Krissa Corbett Cavouras, librarian and the director of marketing and engagement at Brooklyn Public Library, and Felice Belle, a literacy advisor at Brooklyn Public Library’s central branch.
