BPL is offering monthly after-hours programs for youth at select locations. Join Brooklyn teens for a variety of free activities like:
- Art making
- Movie nights
- Open mics
- Performances
- Poetry slams
- Video games

Join us at Rugby Library, when the teens and tweens take over! We will have games, crafts, and light refreshments.
The Library will be open only for kids ages 12-19. Librarians and security guards will be there, but other than these adults, the space and time will be yours.

Apply to help plan Teen Takeovers at your neighborhood library!
The Teen Takeovers Branch Council is an internship program where high school students plan, organize, promote, and host after-hours public programs for other teens. You'll earn community service hours, receive a stipend, learn new skills and have fun. Learn more here and complete an Online Application.
