East New York and Brownsville teens are invited to get creative at the Library! Brownsville Blackout is a BKLYN Incubator program that offers 7–12 graders a variety of found art workshops led by local artist Lana C. Marilyn. The program will culminate in both a zine publication (featuring participants’ art) and a gallery show at Brownsville Library for friends and family. Copies of the zine will be available for all to take home.
Workshops will be divided into three, month-long units, each focusing on a different topic.
