Join Booklyn, Inc and the Sunset Park librarians in an all ages zine-making workshop. Zine Jams are free, drop-in workshops for ages 5+, led by Booklyn, Inc. educators. 

Zines are accessible tools for literacy, storytelling, and community connection. With visual, tactile, and writing prompts, anyone can make a zine. Libraries are essential community hubs, and Zine Jams help reimagine them as spaces of creativity, authorship, and resistance to misinformation. By hosting Zine Jams in libraries, we help shift them from places where information is consumed to places where it’s created—where patrons become authors, not just readers.

This program was made possible in part by funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the New York City Council, through Booklyn, Inc.
