What stories do we learn from music? French-Haitian musician Anaïs Maviel explores this question as she performs traditional songs from the African Diaspora with voice, drums, and n'goni, a West African string instrument.

Ki istwa nou aprann de mizik? Ana-Maviel, mizisyen franse-ayisyen, ap eksplore kesyon sa pandan li ap jwe chante tradisyonèl de dyaspora Afriken ak vwa, tanbou, ni avek n'goni, yon enstriman fisèl de Lwès Afrik.

Join the program on the Brooklyn Public Library Facebook page at 1PM.
