Do you want to have a better understanding of Elder Abuse and the resources that are available? Do you want to identify if an elder that you care about is being abuse? Then join us as Maria Santiago from The Healing Center comes and explains their services. The Healing Center has expanded services to include working with older people in the community. The workshops have provided a safe space for older people to express their concerns and fears.

The Elder Justice Program at The Healing Center has three goals: to create awareness, educate and organize the community in regard to elder abuse. The program creates an awareness of the abuse as well as the resources available through outreach in the community. Their goal is to educate while providing imperative information in a way that will empower the community. 

The Elder Abuse component at The Healing Center has developed a positive reputation of trust and safety within the community they serve. 

Registration Required. Zoom link will be sent at 10am the morning of the program to those who register.
