Join Daniel Pecorano, Senior Program Manager at the The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, for a discussion of current voting rights in NY (city and state), historical context of voting rights, and issues concerning voting nationally. Meet in the library lobby at 12:45pm to view the voting rights exhibit - it's the last day to view it!
*To conclude the workshop, the group will walk over to Stand 4 Gallery (414 78th Street) to view the current exhibition, UNCOMMITTED, the chance to write letters to elected officials of their choice, and enjoy refreshments. This workshop will be followed by a second zine-making workshop at Stand4, Personal is Political: Zine-making workshop with exhibiting artist Franciso Donoso.
