This workshop with audio engineer Joe Totino will cover a variety of topics relating to recording and processing vocals for modern music production. Topics include: microphone selection; digital audio signal flow; and signal processing such as equalization, compression, etc. 

This presentation will take place online via Zoom. Please RSVP at least an hour in advance to receive the Zoom link prior to the event. 

Joe Totino is an audio engineer, sound designer, and composer from Queens, New York. He holds a B.A. in Music and Sound Recording from the University of New Haven, and an M.A. in Sound Design/Scoring for Visual Media program from the Academy of Art University. Joe is an audio instructor at SAE Institute, and a freelance sound designer and composer for multiple music publishing companies focused on sync licensing for TV, film, and advertising. Joe has worked with artists such as: 50 Cent, Snarky Puppy, The Roots, Kronos Quartet, David Crosby, Andre 3000, and Jon Batiste.
