arts and crafts comics writing workshop

Explore the history of your surroundings with artist and journalist Medar de la Cruz with the goal of presenting what you have discovered through visual and written form combined. Each workshop will incorporate library resources and archives, focusing on one specific aspect of journalism and research. Participants will learn how to find reference material using BPL's physical and digital resources, as well as explore simple approaches to representing information in visual form. Explore topics that you feel most connected to and express yourself in ways that can be shared with others regardless of cultural differences.

Additional workshop: Thursday, June 5
