The 26/2 Practice is a beginner Hatha Yoga practice perfect for all levels of experience and all ages! We practice the same 26 asanas and two breathing exercises in every class systematically addressing strength, flexibility and balance in the whole body. Practicing yoga improves lung capacity and therefore energy and helps to reduces stress stored in our bodies. The class is led through straightforward verbal instructions building mind body connection and confidence.
All you need is yourself, 90 minutes, a practice space of about 2X6 ft (a mat is nice but not necessary) and an internet connection! The class is taught interactively with individual adjustments over zoom. Cameras on, cameras off, come one and come all!

Maja Wampuszyc moved to NYC from Detroit to be an artist. “The healing power of art has always inspired me. That is what brought me to the practice of yoga. Teaching yoga keeps me connected to the beauty of the human condition.” She certified in the Original Hot Yoga 26/2 Practice (formerly known as Bikram Yoga) in 2008 and has been joyfully leading this practice for 13 years, sometimes up to 150 students a week. Maja is also certified in Vinyasa and Yin.
