Egyptian pyramids are among the most impressive structures built in ancient times. They served as monumental stone tombs for the Pharaohs that ruled the Egyptian people. The Pharaohs were buried with their belongings and the tomb walls were painted with scenes from their lives. The Great Pyramid is the largest and most famous of all the pyramids, built more than 4,000 years ago!

Learn more about these amazing structures as you build a model pyramid! Led by educators from ArchForKids (archforkids.com)

Materials needed:

  • 3 recycled boxes of diminishing sizes OR one square box
  • Scissors
  • Tape & Glue
  • Construction Paper
  • Markers
  • Optional: art supplies to embellish your pyramid – stickers, buttons, beads etc.

Registration is required for this Zoom program. You will be sent the Zoom link the day before, or the day of, this program. Please don't share this link with anyone else. Registration is limited to 35 children. Recommended for chidren ages 5 to 12.
