Pagodas are multi-tiered structures found in east Asia. They were often used as Buddhist temples. Compare the pagodas of China with those of Japan, Korea, and other countries as you build a 3D model of a beautiful pagoda. Recommended for children ages 5 and up. Led by an educator from http://archforkids.com

Materials needed:

  • a few small recycled boxes (2-4)
  •  a few cardboard squares, cut from a mailing carton, to place in between the boxes. The footprint should be a bit larger than the boxes
  • construction paper
  •  cardboard scraps
  • scissors, tape & glue
  • Use whatever you have at home to decorate your pagoda: stickers, pompoms, toothpicks, straws, popsicle sticks, wrapping paper, tissue paper, etc

Please register for this Zoom program. You will be sent the Zoom link the day before, or the day of, this program. Please don't share this link with anyone. Registration is limited to 35 children.
