Come to the concert of two great musicians! You’ll hear music by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Kreisler and J. Strauss. Violinist Yelena Savranskaya toured world-wide with various symphonic orchestras including famous Kirov Balle and the string quartet Amadeus, she was a co-founder of the St. Petersburg Mozarteum Orchestra. Presently, Y. Savranskaya lives in New York and performs solo and chamber music recitals around the metropolitan area. She has been featured as a soloist and concertmistress of many venues, including Bronx Symphony, Albert Einstein Symphony, Richmond County orchestras, Regina Opera, Arcady Music Festival, and others. Y. Savranskaya has PhD in music and she is a professor of Violin and Chamber Ensemble at the Long Island Conservatory of Music in Albertson, NY. Pianist Alexander Mekinulov was a professor in the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College in Leningrad and actively performed in various chamber music series with soloists of the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra. Since immigrating to the United States in 1989, has established himself as a professor of piano and active chamber performer. As a chamber musician, Mr. Mekinulov has performed extensively throughout the United States, Austria, Italy and Brazil with various soloists and has regularly performed with the world-renowned, Grammy-nominated St. Petersburg String Quartet.
