Veterans' Appreciation Resource Fair
Brooklyn is holding its second Veterans’ Appreciation Parade on Saturday October 26th 2024 beginning at noon, kicking off from the corner of Rogers Avenue and Eastern Parkway and proceed along Eastern Parkway and conclude at Grand Army Plaza. This will be followed by a military ceremony on the Plaza and concurrently a resource fair for mainly veterans and military families sponsored by Brooklyn Public Library. To end all the festivities there will be a concert by the US Army 10th Mountain Band Division from Ft Drum, NY.
The resource fair will have partners to support veterans with resources such as, but not limited to job and career help, mental health services, social services, civic services and discounted entertainment for veterans and military families.
Veterans have protected our rights as Americans and made the dreams of our forefathers possible. Without them, there would be no way to ensure that America remains the "Land of Opportunity". Let us support our veterans!
Event Partners: Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, Veterans Action Group Buffalo Soldiers of America, Community Board 9, NYC Veterans Affairs, Buffalo Soldiers of West Point, and FDNY.
