Starting out in Bed-Stuy in 1985, The Light on Halsey Street is a multi-decade-spanning coming-of-age story follows the diverging paths of two young women whose paths reconnect later in life, when they find that their paths have been woven together by the love of community and a friendship that is tested by time, betrayal, and unforgiveness.
